Troubleshooting Tips

What do I do if my key breaks off?
Occasionally a key breaks off in the key lock. Use needle nose pliers or a flat knife to turn the key until a new key is sent. To remove old key, turn off unit and put a 90 degree bend at the end of a paper clip or pin. Push the pin in the key lock beside the key and twist and pull the key and pin out.

To order a new key, contact your local service provider or complete the Contact Us form.

Where do Imy serial number?
If you own an Amigo® FD (front drive), the serial number is located on the front cowl and on the fork by the front wheel. On any other Amigo RD (rear drive), you willthe serial number near the bottom of the handle and on the right hand side of the battery box. 

Are there any helpful suggestions outlined for simple service repairs?
Yes. Review the Troubleshooting Check List to assist you with your servicing efforts. Contact our Customer Service Department with your findings and our techs will work with you to quickly resolve the service issue.

Amigo® brand products have been designed with advanced electronics, providing you with a code to help detect a problem. Review the Amigo Diagnostic Code Chart for assistance.

My Amigo is not running. I think it could be the charger or control board, but how do I know for sure?

With ease of service as a top priority, Amigo engineers developed the Classic’s front assembly (Tiller and Drive Head) to house all of the drive and electrical components. This front assembly can be easily removed and shipped to our factory repair for service in the same carton it originally arrived in.

New Products
We have expanded our product offering to include a new Fiesta™ brand product line. The Fiesta Line is a wonderful complement to our Amigo® brand product line and enables us to expand our product offering to a larger market, providing something for everyone.

The Fiesta line offers two 3-wheeled scooters and two 4-wheeled scooters. All four Fiesta products come in a vibrant Ruby Red color with a 2-piece take-apart steel platform, allowing easy transportability. A New Look
Another recent change, is the introduction of our New Full Body Color Package to our Amigo brand rear drive product line. This new look includes a coordinated color throughout the Rear Cover, Shroud and Handle. The integrated color change has been very well received, as customers love the new sleek, vibrant look on all our Amigo brand models.

In addition to the Full Body Color Package, we have introduced a Champagne Beige color option for our RD model.
