IMPORTANT QUESTION: Do you sleep and relax "FLAT" because you HAVE to or because you WANT to? (ANSWER: you are given no choices on a Flat Bed - no one wants to be FLAT all the time)
If you have a BAD BACK, you can elevate your legs to reverse the pressure on your LOWER BACK. If you have ever read a BACK PAIN book, the book will show you pictures of people with pillows underneath their legs, or people with their legs up upon a stool or chair or up against the wall. No other bed, but an Adjustable Bed, allows you to electrically elevate your legs to reverse and reduce the pressure on your lower back. You simply stop where you are most comfortable.
When you are on your FEET all day, or are sitting all day, it is harder on your VENOUS system, because your CIRCULATORY system is working against gravity. Have you ever been so tired where you are exhausted or feel like you wish like you were upside down? Well, on your Adjustable Bed you can actually elevate your Legs above your Heart Level to let GRAVITY work with your Venous System, instead of against it. After all, the medical definition, of Varicose Veins is simply when Gravity becomes stronger than the muscles in your veins (that push the flow back to your heart). Many people with Diabetes find elevating their legs a real health benefit. Those with Swelling of the Legs simply allow Gravity to work with the flow toward the heart, instead of against it.
AND, if you read any GOOD BED/SLEEP article, you will realize that a FLAT BED makes you very uncomfortable. Research shows that on a Flat Bed you have to toss and turn every 15 minutes. Any bed that MAKES you toss and turn every 15 minutes is actually Defective if you think about it. The reason they put a Hospital Bed in every single hospital, is that no matter what you are in the Hospital for, when you elevate the back and the legs into a reclining position, your whole body weight gets evenly supported - and you do not have to relieve the pressure off your shoulders and hips every 15 minutes - and you can usually sleep comfortably all night long. WHEN you have a Flat Bed, since your BODY is not flat (you curve OUT at the Head, Shoulders, Hips and Heels; and curve IN at the Neck, Lower Back and before the Heels), you will get PRESSURE and STRAIN building up on your Head, Shoulders, Hips and Heels. This will make you toss and turn every 15 minutes on a Flat Bed. When you can Contour or Recline your body, since your whole body weight is evenly supported, you don't have to toss and turn, and can sleep comfortable, hopefully, the whole night.
LATEX FOAM FACTORY
VIDEO THE HIGHER THE BACK, can help you take the pressure off your Neck, Shoulders and Upper Back. Again, you simply stop where you are most comfortable. Today, most people have a TV in the Bedroom, or like to READ in bed, some like to even enjoy breakfast in bed, other's use their laptaps. You simply adjust your back and your legs to where you are most comfortable. Some people have trouble getting IN and OUT of Bed; you simply elevate the Back in the completely UP Position, and you will be in an almost complete SITTING Position. It is important to NOTE that if you have trouble getting in our out of bed, it is also important to get your bed at the Right Height. You can get an Electric Adjustable Bed to be made at a lower height or a higher height. You want your THIGHS to be above your KNEE height - it is twice as easy to stand up! ALSO, THE HIGHER THE BACK, it is easier on your HEART muscle and is easier on your BREATHING (respiratory systems). It is easier on your Heart muscle to have your back elevated because you have Gravity assisting your flow downhill to your feet. It is easier on your Respiratory System, because when you sleep FLAT and when you Breathe, you are actually slightly lifting your Rib Cage each time. When you can elevate your back, your lungs can rest comfortably inside your Rib Cage: you are not lifting your Rib Cage slightly each time just to breathe.
Turn on the Circular Motion Massage for that Extra Relaxation Plus. We do not put Vibrators in our Adjustable Beds, but actual Circular Motion Massagers that travel in circular motion, making your Adjustable Bed very relaxing and soothing for those who may need a little Extra Relaxation from everyday stress and tension. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: An Electric Adjustable Bed bends exactly how your Body Bends. There is ONE Section for your Upper Back (sitting bones to the top of your head), SECOND: Hips (Lower Back to your Knees) and THIRD: Legs (knees to your heels). These are also the same exact THREE dimensions like you are sitting on a chair. It is very important that you get on Your Adjustable Bed correctly: that your body bends in the same areas as your ADJUSTABLE BED. We recommend to start with the Top of Your Head EQUAL to the Top of the End of your Adjustable Bed. If you don't get on your Adjustable Bed correctly, ALL the positions will be bending incorrectly, and you will NOT be keeping your Upper Back completely straight - like slouching on a chair. If you ever read a "BAD BACK BOOK" it will usually tell you that PAIN comes from a Nerve; and usually when a Muscle or Bone is pressing on the Nerve. To Help keeping your Back Healthy you have to keep the Energy and the Alignment of your Back perfectly as possible. As you elevate your legs, you should be able to get your BACK completely flat against your mattress. Remember, your Back really starts at your tail bone and ends at your neck. You want this complete area FLAT against the Mattress. This is one of the reasons why Adjustable Beds are usually longer than regular, flat beds. Our Adjustable Bed Factory Rep, after a couple of questions, will recommend either the 74" Regular Length, 80" Extra Long Length, or 84" CA King Length. If you have a BAD BACK it is, again, critical to get the correct Mattress and Firmness. A too Soft or Firm mattress can lead to a misalignment of your Back and posture - leading to maybe your Skeletal System pressing against a part of your Nervous System. Elevating your Back and Your Legs (especially your Legs) manipulates your Skeletal System. Hopefully, you can relieve the strain and stress that creates the pain by simply pressing a button to change your body's positions. Again, if you read a Back Pain Book, the "theory" is usually that wherever the pain is in your body (say shoulders, or legs) it is usually Caused by a mis-alignment in your Central Back Area. (This is what Chiropractor's live by). An Adjustable Bed allows you the most therapeutic sleep possible. Combine this with the correct mattress and firmness is what we do.
