Our innerspring adjustable bed mattress is the product of over 47 years of

We inner-tuft the top 3 layers of material (underneath the 4th
quilted layer) to the springs, on both sides of
the mattress. The innerspring unit is heat treated twice (tempered
steel) and is individually hinged every 3.5" for perfect
bending.

We double stitch around the sides,
and triple stitch around the corners.
Mattress Firmnesses
We create the different firmnesses in the nnerspring mattress by adding foam
rails that extend the entire with of the spring. There are three available
firmnesses: Regular Firm, Extra Firm and Ultra Firm.
We use 1.25" thick and 5" high foam rails in between the rows of springs
to increase firmness and side support to the mattress. The innerspring
on all mattresses is the Leggett & Platt 330 coil count dual offset unit
that is the best innerspring available for an adjustable bed mattress. All
mattresses are inner-tufted for additional durability and support.
All are fully reversible.
The regular firm mattress does not use any foam rails supports, the extra-firm
uses 5 foam rail supports evenly space from the end caps of the innerspring
and the ultra firm uses seven foam rail supports giving the mattress two
addition center supports.
The foam rails are 1.4 pound density and have an ILD of 44. Since all firmnesses
of the same size mattress use the same innerspring, there will not be any
variation in height and length between different firmnesses.

What's ILD and Why should I Care?
ILD: Indentation
Load Deflection (ILD) is a measurement of latex foam firmness. ILD
is measured by indenting (compressing) a foam sample 25 percent of its original
height. The amount of force (in pounds) required to indent the foam
is its 25 percent ILD measurement. The more force required, the firmer the
foam. Flexible foam ILD measurements range from 10 pounds (super soft) to
about 80 pounds (very firm).
