Our newest massage lounger gives you the choice between the deep tissue therapy
techniques of Shiatsu massage or the soothing relaxation techniques of Swedish
massage.
Ep1061 Shiatsu Massage
Shiatsu uses strong, deep tissue pressure and stretching to promote health
and spiritual well-being. We analyzed the finger movements of professional
Shiatsu massage therapists in order to replicate this highly developed, firm
style of massage. When in this mode, the Swede-Atsu technology uses only
two rollers, or heads, to recreate the Shiatsu massaging motions.
Ep1061 Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is a delicate style of massage designed to relax muscles
by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and gently
rubbing in the same direction as the flow of the blood returning to the heart.
This massage therapy stimulates the skin and nervous system. To simulate
Swedish-style massage and replicate the feeling of a masseur's palms, the
Swede-Atsu chair uses four rollers.
Massage Types Along 27"
Steel Frame
Massage therapy increases blood circulation and temporarily reduces muscle
stiffness, to leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The patented ergonomic
27" tracking system helps keep your back strong by supporting its natural
shape, while the chair also covers more of your back than any other chair
from any other major manufacturer (98 square inches).
Kneading (Shiatsu) Massage
Pressure is applied gently to an acupoint, held and then quickly released
for a relaxing massage which eases soreness and points of tension.
Rolling Massage
Stretches the muscles and temporarily increases blood circulation. Massage
pads roll up and down the spine to help stimulate spinal nerve roots and
reduce minor muscular back pain.
Tapping Massage
Simulates the rapid tapping of hands on your back muscles. Tapping temporarily
increases blood circulation, reduces muscle stiffness and enhances oxygen
flow to leave you feeling invigorated and rejuvenated. Select the area to
be massaged and choose up to 500 taps per minute.
Chopping
A variation of the Tapping mode, the Chopping massage style simulates a masseuse
using the sides of the

Recline
Recline to an incredible 170 degrees at the touch of a button, and choose
the recline position in which you're the most comfortable while receiving
your massage. This will also help you vary the massage

Position Ottoman Massage
In a closed position, the ottoman can deliver a soothing calf massage. As
the pressure slowly increases, circulation is elevated and stiff muscles
are soothed. When opened, the ottoman can be used to massage the soles of
the feet.

Controls
All Panasonic massage chairs allow you to adjust massage intensity and the
position of the rollers, giving you maximum control over each massage.
Intensity Control
Increase the intensity of your massage for a stronger pressure, or decrease
the intensity for a delicate, more gentle massage.
Electronically Adjustable Massage Track and Neck
Roller
Track length and neck roller position can be adjusted for a more comfortable
massage. Electronically adjustable track contours to your body for a more
defined massage experience, and the neck roller position can be adjusted
according to your height.

Soft-Rubber Massage Heads
By studying the proper movements of professional massage therapists, Panasonic
was able to develop unique specialized massage heads which simulate a hand
massage. These massage heads utilize a special soft rubber to stimulate the
feel and touch of an actual thumb.
